For our new production. HLO will be taking an exciting step forward with our new 2012 production of "A Masked Ball", or "Un Ballo in Maschera", by Giuseppe Verdi.
All performances will be in English. This 3 act opera is based on the true story of the assassination of King Gustav III of Sweden. This is one of Verdi's most beautiful operas, with his wonderful mix of passion and drama set to beautiful and exciting musical phrases.
